Guess what, Star Wars fans? Daisy Ridley, the awesome Rey Skywalker, is all set for another adventure in a new Star Wars movie. This time, it’s directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, and it’s going to explore the New Jedi Order. Daisy Ridley is super excited about it!
In a chat with Variety, they asked Daisy about how having the first female director in the Star Wars world would affect things. Daisy said she’s pumped up for the job, but it’s not just because Sharmeen is a woman. She thinks Sharmeen’s documentaries are fantastic, and the story idea for the new movie is just plain cool. Then they asked Daisy about her Star Wars pals, Adam Driver, John Boyega, and Oscar Isaac. Daisy doesn’t know who’s going to be in the new movie yet. She turned the talk to how much she’s changed since the earlier Star Wars films. When she started, she was only 20, the youngest on set. Now, in her 30s, she feels all grown up. It took her a bit to feel like she belonged in the Star Wars world, but now she’s confident and excited.
